£444 Tchibo laptop - sold out before it was ever on sale!

Double-dealing Tchibo!!

They have been trumpeting a £444 laptop on their site for a fortnight now to go on sale today (16 Aug).

But at 7am this morning, when the site updates and I'm expecting the thing to go on sale - the graphic says "Unfortunately out of stock"

The thing never went on bl**dy sale!!

I suspect they've been selling the laptop out of the paper catalogue. But if it's sold out why continue to promote it and raise expectations?

I'm furious - I'll let you know how I get on with Tchibo customer services.

not a good price at £444, the ACER in Tescos or comet is a good price

But with 10% discount at Quidco, and my 6% Tchibo regular shopper discount, that brings it in at under £380.

That does make it comparable value - Tchibo goods are always very good quality, and their returns policy is second to none.
