Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years and over (excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and affiliated companies and third party entries).
  1. No purchase is necessary to participate in the competition. In order to enter you must complete the application form at www.comet.co.uk/goal and upload your video entry following the on-screen instructions carefully.
  2. Video entries into the competition must be submitted between Thursday 29th April 2010 and midnight on 13th June 2010. No entries will be accepted after this date.
  3. Participants may upload as many videos as they wish, which should relate to goal celebrations. Full information can be found on the website. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any invalid or incorrect entry. Entries deemed to be inappropriate or of an offensive nature will be disqualified.
  4. Your video should be no longer than 90 seconds long and the file should be no larger than 2Gb.
  5. Entries can only be accepted in the following file types: Windows Media Video (.WMV) .3GP (cell phones)
    .AVI (windows) .MOV (mac).MP4 (ipod/psp).MPEG .FLV (adobe flash)
    .MKV (h.264)
  6. All participants who comply with the points above will be eligible and entered in the competition.
  7. Entries will be reviewed by Comet who will select 12 finalists judged to be the most visually appealing and original entries in line with the theme of Goal Celebrations. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.<LI sizset="137" sizcache="0">The 12 finalists videos will then be posted on www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/advice/1004/ from 16th June 2010 until midnight 30th June 2010. Visitors to the site will then be able to vote for their favourite entry.
  8. Only one vote per email address will be allowed. Any voters judged likely to be abusing this rule will have their vote removed from the competition.
  9. The entry that receives the highest amount of individual votes by midnight 30th June 2010 will then be announced the winner. The next 3 entries with the highest number of individual votes will be announced runners up.
  10. The prize awarded to the winner of the video vote is the “Ultimate football viewing kit” and consists of :
    Panasonic 50” 3D Plasma TV TX-P50VT20B worth £2499.99 with Panasonic 3D Blu-ray Player DMP-BDT300EG worth £449.99 plus Monster 1 metre HDMI 1.4 cable worth £79.99
    The three runners up prize consists of : Panasonic 32” LCD TV with 100Hz and built-in Freeview HD TX-L32S20B worth £699.99
  11. All voters for the winning entry will then be placed into a prize draw to win one of 10 Panasonic FS11 digital cameras worth £159.99 (sku 617059). The 10 winners will then be selected at random by an independent third party on 1st July 2010.
  12. All winners will be notified by email by 2nd July 2010
  13. Should the prizes become unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of equivalent value.
  14. The prize is non transferrable and no cash alternative will be made available.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any invalid or incorrect entry. Entries deemed to be inappropriate or of an offensive nature will be disqualified.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to use all images and video content submitted by entrants for further promotional activity.
  17. . You warrant and represent that, in respect of each entry submitted as follows:
    1. you are the sole owner and author of each entry;
    2. you have the right to make your entry available to the competition;
    3. you confirm that each person depicted in the entry has granted permission to be portrayed as shown and for any person depicted who is under 18, permission has been granted by their parent or guardian.
    4. each entry does not contain personally identifiable information about you or any other person(s);
    5. each entry does not contain any infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or profane content;
    6. each entry does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person's rights of privacy or publicity, and your entry does not include trademarks owned by third parties; copyrighted materials owned by third parties; names, likenesses, voices or other characteristics identifying celebrities or other public figures, living or dead.
  18. You agree to fully indemnify the Promoter in respect of all royalties, fees and any other monies owing to any person by reason of your breaching any of the foregoing.
  19. Entries which contain any commercial content that promotes any product or service other than that of the Promoter will be disqualified.
  20. By entering into this competition participants hereby grant the Promoter a non-exclusive worldwide royalty free licence to use, copy, modify or alter any footage submitted in connection with the competition (“Footage”). Participants hereby represent that they own all rights to footage.
  21. The Promoter assumes no responsibility and is not liable for any footage misuse. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the competition, and the Promoter assumes no responsibility for technical, hardware or software failure of any kind, for lost network connections, garbled computer transmissions, other problems or technical malfunctions with regard to the competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, corruption, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail addressed to the Promoter on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the competition. If for any reason an entry cannot be viewed or is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures, the Promoter assumes no responsibility.
  22. The promoter reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time.
