Should I start to panic yet?

Last weekend I saw my dream dress on ebay. It still had a week to run with no bids, so I e-mailed the seller to see if she would accept £100 for it, which she did. She took it off sale said the dress would be despatched 2-3 days after I made payment and she would send me a tracking number.

I made payment on Monday through Paypal, but have heard nothing from her since then. The dress really should have been despatched yesterday at the latest, I e-mailed her yesterday afternoon to get the tracking number and as yet have had nothing back.

I'm not in any great hurry for the dress (we haven't even set a date yet lol), but I've just got this horrible feeling I've been ripped of. The dresses I was looking at were all around the £600 mark, which I could never afford, so thats why I was so pleased at getting this. I'm also quite tall so finding one on ebay that will fit is quite unusual.

Should I be worrying yet, how long should I leave it before contacting her again?

I'd give it until Monday for a reply or delivery from the courier/postal service. Then I'd email again to chase up.

Normally I'd send two reminders (a few days apart) to the person before informing them that if I didn't hear in 48 hours I will be informing PayPal that I am having difficulty with the seller.

Hope all is well and it arrives soon!

i would wait a few more days, just email her again to see what she says, you never know something may have happened (accident or serious illness) that has stoppped her sending it, if you've paid with paypal you can open a dispute up to 45days after purchase & then they will contact the seller for you,

hope you get a reply soon x

I would also wait until Monday - it could be that as this week was a bank holiday that the seller has gone away for a few days and therefore can't respond to emails.

Thanks everyone for puting my mind at rest! The seller got back to me yesterday afternoon apologising for the delay, one of her kids was ill. So my dress has been sent, just waiting on the tracking number now!
