Little Boots Glitch... I think

TINY glitch, don't get too excited, and may not be a glitch at all. I am not a Boots glitch expert, so I may be missing something obvious and it may just be an offer I cannot see (there is an offer of free gift over £7 but this doesn't apply), but I'll post anyway and risk looking like an idiot.

I was on Boots site ordering Sanctuary's Hydrating Toner. Added two to my basket, and the price is £5.97, which is the price for one bottle. It is just saying the price for both is £5.97, not £12ish and then taking the price of one of the bottles off later as it would if it was on BOGOF.

I use the toner reguarly and love it, so have ordered four bottles (over two orders, if you add four to basket it comes up at full price, and won't let me add 3 for some reason).

I have tried other items but it only seems to be on this.

It seems that you're getting the second one free as a GWP.
I just added two hand lotions and it automatically added a toner to my basket, with "Free gift when you spend £7 or more on selected Sanctuary" in red under it.
You didn't spend £7 though, so it's a bonus indeed

Just tried to see if it would add the free gift with purchase too if I added the cheapest available item (handcream at £2.99) but it doesn't which is a shame, but still great for those who use this product.

Ah, just realised.this is because the free gift IS the toner. Still shouldnt work on the £5.97 purchase though. Good find.

You have grabbed a bargain really, it seems if you try it with any of the other products you have to spend the £7 to get the free toner.

This looks like it's similar to the S&G one a few months back - as long as the toner plus any other sanctuary promotion item add up to £7 or more, rather than adding another toner as the free gift it takes away the cost of the toner. It may not work on all items, but it's a good thing to play about with.

This does work with the cheapest item!

You have to put the toner into your basket and then add your other item, the price of the tonor is then automatically taken off the total!!

I just got the body polisher for £3.49 and got the toner free!!:)

I wonder if this would work in store too? If it did you could get the Mela giftset reduced to £5 and the free toner!! Bargain:)
