My Dad has got one of these. Does he need to apply for a new one before it expires or does it get sent automatically?

    I think you have to go to the council and renew it, from what I remember
    I get paid to smell great :j

    My parents always get a reminder when their cards are due for renewal. They have to fill in a form each time to say that they still need the cards and send new photos.

    He should have got a reminder. If not, just call the council and ask for a new form, should be simple.
