I want a new laptop (with a decent battery life)

Wasn't sure whether to post here on in the Techie forum, but here goes.

I'm on the market for a new laptop, after the mistake that was an HP model I bought a couple of years ago: I didn't know at the time it had a maximum battery life of an hour, but now it's been reduced to about two minutes. I already have a netbook, so the laptop would be more of a PC replacement.

I am very tempted to go for a Dell Inspiron, which I used to have and had a very decent battery (as well as a Firewire port), but Dell's after-sales service was shoddy.

What's most important is the battery life: I am looking for something that lasts at least two hours without power saving.

I have an Acer Aspire 5332 and the battery life is 2 and a half hours if I want the screen on full brightness (which I do because my eyes are rubbish). I got it at christmas so i'm sure its still available. It was just under £400.

I have a Sony VAIO VPCEB1E0E 15.5 inch notebook (Core i3-330M 2.13GHz, 3Gb, 320Gb, DVDRW, Webcam, Win 7 Home Premium 64bit (Matte White)) , battery life 275 mins (and it really is!). Have to say it is a great little laptop, not a cheapie but very good.
