Hey guys,
can anyone advise me how damaging defaults are even when marked satisfied or settled?
Iv got 12  yes 12 defaults from when i was a student and my debt totals about 3000pound! I hate myself for getting stupid 50 pound defaults but i cant turn back time!
I eventually want to get a mortgage and finance etc but it seems nothing i do will help my situation! (I havnt had any credit for about 2/3 years)

How old are your defaults?
after 6years they will drop off so will have no impact. But your chances of any decent credit products with that sort of number of defaults is pretty remote.
Once they are settled and maybe 3-4 years old you may be able to get a subprime card which you can use to start improving your credit rating.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

I have 2 defaults one settled and one not, in 2 years they will both be off my report for good, i havent had credit in four years now and its been a nightmare, and on these occasions it was not my fault..0 -
