Standard Life Endowment moan

I have just had my yearly statement from Standard Life regarding a low cost endowment I have.
Its minimum amount at maturity is £10,000 less than its original maturity value:eek: and the estimated maturity value is £755 less than what I will have paid in premiums:eek:.
And if I was to cash it in today I will get back £880 less :eek:than I have paid in premiums.
Thank goodness I only have 13 more months with that company
.
I need to keep it till it matures for the life cover.
I am now officially worth more dead than alive:rotfl:, at least in my wife's point of view:D

ouch, is it linked to your home or do you have a repayment mortgage?
My oh's has been performing ok, not good as such but there's a small profit to be had:silenced:0 -
I have an interest paying mortgage, I knew it was going to be short but last year's figures were £6000 short so I had made allowances for that.
Good job (maybe) that I have 2500 SL shares, at one time worth over £7500, now worth £4760. As long as they are worth over £5000 in 13 months time I will be OK.
