Engagement ring..Samara James or Brian Gavin?

Hi I have just got engaged and now need to find somewhere to get a ring from.I have seen Samara James get mentioned here a few times and also have seen some recommendations for Brian Gavin from a US forum.
I live in Manchester but dont know of any workshop type jewellers around the area.Can anyone suggest someone?

My fiance bought my ring from Samara James and it is beautiful! Also amazing value, according to the insurance certificate it's worth almost double what he paid for it. The high street jewellers are such a rip off...0

My ring came from Samara James too can't recommend them highly enough they also do a range of wedding rings they include a brochure in with the ring when you purchase it
We ordered a F colour and they must of ran out of stock on them so got sent a E which is better
