Hi all,
my Littlewoods catalogue account has been taken over my a company called Phoenix. Littlewoods gave me no information other then their telephone number.
Stupidly I was with a Debt Management company costing me £70 a month  (I didnt know about it until I sat down a while ago to sort my life out!)
I am taking back control of my accounts and need to call them but wondered if anyone else had dealings with Phoenix and what their experience was like???
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Don’t worry too much about collection agencies; they don’t have anymore power than the original creditor.
I have attached a link to the CCCS website for you to have a read through about collection agencies.
If you are making the payments directly to them, then make them either through a standing order or payment book rather than direct debit. This is so you have control of the payments.

Let me know if you have any further questions and good luck with your plan!
Sarah

Thanks so much Sarah. I was a bit worried about calling them as the way Littlewoods described them was like I was about to meet the incredible hulk! Thanks again for the confidence boost, going to have a look throuh the website now. :-)9 years and counting0
