Credit report score diffrences

hello can anyone help, my husband and i both got our Experian credit reports but there appears to be nothing on them except 1 previous address we both lived at for same amount of time, however his score is 586 and mine 373 but on the other 2 agencies (callcredit and equifax) its myself who has the better credit rating so how can Experian show that mine is alot lower and they hold exactly the same history for us both?
any comments welcome

Ignore the scores they are worthless each creditor has there own system. The scores are a waste of money to buy.

Why does experian give you different rating?, maybe there is some differences in the accounts, is every single account you have in joint names or exactly the same on both?

no we dont have everything in joint names but experian only hold the same information which is jus one address and nothing else appers on it at all, callcredit and equifax hold all our other info and they do differ and the scores seem to reflect our history on them, we souly concernded about the experian one. what info do experian normally hold on you? they are supposed to be a main credit agancy yet they have nothing on my husband or myself?

Not sure if this will help http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/credit-rating-credit-score#know

Do they both hold the same number of previous addresses? do either have any aliases listed. Any searches of your credit file listed? If you have only your current address listed how long have you lived at that address?

Experian will only hold info on you that your creditors have provided them with, maybe none of your creditors routinely report to experian.

Hi tixy thanks for that, they are both identical, only thing on it is our previous adress which we havnt lived in for 2 years now, i find it quite odd that not even our home address has been updated but they are completly the same, searches, footprints, all the same, i think they pluck figures out of the air!!

When you apply for your full report (not the score) don't they ask for all address in the last 6years? did you give them that info and the new address?

It might be that if you have just given the info the reports will update soon. I assume you are on the electoral roll at your new address?

But as you have found the actual score means very little.

    hi tixy,

yes it was a full credit report, we are both on the electoral register and its not changed for 18 months, we apply for it every quarter to keep an eye on it.

oh well, looks like something may have gone wrong or simply they dont have much on us, il give it another 6 months and see if anything changes.

You may as well think of a number between 1 and 999 and say thats your credit score, as the score on them reports mean nothing.

Its odd though - you might want to contact experian to see why your current address does not show. You might be able to do it via email I think.
