Past Due Credit Solutions

I was declared bankrupt in September 2008.

Today I received a vague letter addressed to me personally from PDCS stating:

'I would be grateful if you could contact me on xxxx number regarding an important matter.'

Having googled the company it looks like its potentially a fishing expedition to extort money. However, most of the talk on the forums I've visited have been people without any outstanding debts so I'm not sure about how I stand being bankrupt.

After 18 months of getting myself back on track, this has been a nasty shock to the system.

Does anyone have any knowledge/experience of them? If so, whatsup?

They do seem to be heavily involved in the fishing industry. ;)

I would just ignore them until they have the courtesy to write to you properly with firm details of what they think you might owe.

  • Tee hee! Thanks Fermi.

I kinda thought they would send a second letter soon after this initial one. Will report back when it lands.

    Thank you x x

  • Hi there - So received the second letter today which refers to debt which was included in my BR. Do I just ring them and quote BR details?

How come it's so important that they won't put it in writing???

If you are set on phoning them, any chance you could record the call? Might be interesting.
  • Thanks confused, will do. Fatbelly, its all part of their scare tactics I think. Haven't got the facility to record my phonecalls but I'll report back on what they have to say for themselves after I've called.

    Hi SkintyMcFlinty,

I had PDCS as one of my creditors when I went BR. They had a debt from Souther electric. I just phoned them on day of BR gave them my details and I've never heard a word since.

Probably were sold your debt as a bulk buy with the co selling info not telling them that you were BR.

YOu shouldn't have any probs, I think they were on of the better Debt companies. But then we all have good & bad ens!

    Good luck.
