CD WOW Burton's £1.50 off link changed

If you went to https://www.cdwow.com/burton you used to get £1.50 off any purchase.  If you go to the same link now, you get a page where you can get a £1.50 voucher code sent to an e-mail account - much like the Capital One page.  However, this stops you adding extra vouchers on the the £1.50 discount (I'm pretty sure), and you can only use the code for as many e-mail addresses as you have.  As the L'oreal competition link guarentees you a minimum £2 voucher, it may mean that the Burton's link is defunct. :'(

Unless anyone knows a way around it?

The best alternative I have is this:

http://www10.cd-wow.com/promotion.php?promo_refcode=12569_1&affid=12569

It's the link from teachersdiscounts.co.uk which takes off 30p automatically. Not as good as £1.50, but better than nowt.

  • Actually if you go to cdwow.com/burton and type in your email address you don't actually get sent an e-voucher instead you get a link that takes you to the main cdwow page with -£1.50 deducted from the prices.

There's a current offer on the Egg website (the page you get to when you log off) for 20% off CD-WOW purchases in September made with an Egg card. This appears to work with the Burton's promotion.
  • Anyone have link to egg offer site?
Examine what is said, not him who speaks.
  • You just get the 20% as cashback at the end of the year; so you will need to have an Egg credit card to qualify.
