Hi all, I was looking at a previous thread someone posted about working at home and someone suggested Lionbridge.
Has anyone ever worked for them, and if so was it worth while and the pay fair?
I am looking for work I can do at home around the school run and possible late evening. This would be work that does not require me to door to door sales or handing out brochures.
If you feel lionbridge is a good option or know of something else please let me know
Thank you in advance

I worked for Lionbridge for 2 years and it was great. A lot of UK raters were laid off just before Christmas, including me. They are now taking on again I believe. Pay is well above minimum wage and very, very flexible. I miss the job and the money!
It is a VERY good job if you can pass the tests.
I now work from home for a virtual call centre. This is also very flexible, and a nice team to work for, but pay is less than half what Lionbridge paid and it is a bit of a shock to the system to work for minimum wage again.0 -
Can you not reapply if they now have vacancies?Mortgage Feb 2015 £178,500 END 2043!!

No, as due to the nature of the work, you cannot reapply.0
