Lloyds TSB Unfair Bank Charges

Payday so I have just submitted my unfair bank charge claim for £537. Do you think that it would be a good idea to send a letter to Lloyds letting them know I have taken action. Could this encourage them to pay any sooner, if at all?

Also, has anyone dealt with Lloyds for this? What were they like?

  • They hav'nt been very good so far with me... 1st letter failed, now im on the letter before court action.

I only decided to claim with Lloyds as the woman refused to refund 1 fee at the branch, what a cow !
  • I reckon you've got to go all the way with them to get your dough. Just keeping my fingers crossed!

I have never had bank charges, but do bank with LLoyds TSB. Last night one of their financial advisers phoned to offer me a 'financial review'. I agreed but insisted that in return he listened to my views on why they should be reviewing the ethics of their banking practices. Never had a financial advisers get off the phone so quickly.:D

    Hi Lisa,

If you have already written the 1st two letters to Lloyds (1 saying u want them back and 2nd further request for them!) then just go ahead with the moneyclaim, they'll know soon enough. I hope they pay out soon for you! :-)
I'm about to go down the same route, so keep us up to date!

  • I hope they pay up too and don't decide to make an example of me to stop so many people claiming back from them. Just got to keep my fingers crossed.
