Free 18mth Mobile Phone Contract 100mins unlimited texts 500mb Internet

Thanks for sharing this. Good deal - quick qs do we need:
1. a PAC code from our current network in order to transfer numbers before ordering?
2. to get paper billing @ £1 per month in order to claim cashback?
Costs will soon mount up if you use more than 100min per month @ 30p a minute for over over 100 min
I tend to use 200min and 100 texts so for me it seems better off going for the 300min deals costing an effective £6.xx a month.
1. You can port to Tmobile after you have purchased the phone.
2. You can use copies of your online bills for redemptions.0 -
This is looking good for me, have ordered to put sim in unlocked internet enabled pay as you go phone, received email as approved and on its way, big thanks for this one op.0

Thanks to the OP for the pick!
Just a reminder - don't forget to remove the "3 Month Free Insurance" from your order.
I haven't done so (cos I got duped by the 'free' word) and will have to remember to remove it later on.
From the T&Cs:
Following your three months free insurance, premiums will be collected monthly by Direct Debit at £5.99 per month including any IPT and will continue by periods of one month (up to a maximum period of cover of 5 years) upon receipt of your monthly premiums. You can cancel your Direct Debit at any time.
You have a right to cancel the insurance by giving written notice of cancellation within 14 days of the receipt of confirmation of insurance cover to the Citymain Administrators Limited ("the Administrator") at PO Box 116 Ryde PO33 2WX quoting your mobile phone number. If you do not exercise this right to cancel then your rights and those of the insurer to cancel this insurance cover thereafter are that you may cancel this insurance at any time by giving notice of cancellation, in writing or by telephone, to the Administrator. Cover will terminate immediately on receipt of your cancellation.

This is my first time experience with MSE and Quidco. :j
So I am concerned about the following:
a) What guarantees are there about the BuyMobilePhones.net covering the redemptions in time (in my case it is 5 equal stages after bill 4, 8, 12, 15, and 18)? Is it likely that I will I have to chase them up 40-60 days after they were meant to make a payment?
Is the redemption agreement entirely at my own risk and am I protected by any kind of consumer protection if they will cease to exist?
b) My transaction didn't appear on Quidco and it states that it could be up to30 days for this retailer. I guess an average period is a lot shorter.
Cheers and well done to all of you! :beer:0 -
Has anyone else had tracking difficulties with this deal?
My phone is being delivered today, but hasn't yet tracked on Topcashback and it looks like problems on Quidco as well, so probably an issue with Buymobilephones and their network. No stats on Topcashback, which seems strange as this business has been around for ages.0 -
I ordered my phone on Sunday & got Quidco confirmation yesterday of 0.01p which is updated apparently before payment. Got my phone today which is unlocked, and put the sim in my Pulse which after a little tweaking is all good. I stupidly didnt opt out of the insurance but rang the insurance company who didnt have my details yet and was told I should get some paperwork from them within the week and can ring to cancel then, or just cancel the DD later. The parcel enclosed the redemption vouchers (mustn't lose those) so far so good.0
