What do9es S1, S2... S4 etc mean on standard life pension fund?

Hallo,

I have a Standard Life Pension Managed One with a balanced profile, when I try to find that online to track the fund performance, I see S1 or S4 etc after the fund name, what do they indicate?

Thanks,

Its the "series" of the fund. So you need to check which series of the Balanced Managed fund you are invested in to check performance.

    Hi

As per the previous response, a pension company will often release new 'versions' (aka. series) of their pension funds, perhaps a new one every year. In most cases, they are all invested in the same underlying fund; (ie. they all share the same manager and same investment strategy), but this is not always the case.

Between the Standard Life managed funds, there are significant differences in the unit price and will more subtle differences in the performance.

if you search on the website pensiontracker.co.uk typing in 'Stan Life Managed' you should come up with a list of the different series, their price and performance.

Try to identify the fund that most closely matches the unit price on your last statement:

    Hope this helps.
