hey Elf really big hug, wish i could offer some advise but instead i will willing to be 'shouted' at for just being male (used to it anyway as in a house with 3 women) anyways i agree with above a little break away at your parents could help and just getting through your exams will lift a load of your mind
i am not sure if i should hide now with pointing out myvoteadvisor as interesting but i do think it shows you a lot when you actually take away the 'names' of the parties as you end up taking away your automatic prejudice that everyone has against one or more of the parties and just looking at what they are 'currently' standing for
I found it interesting Gonzo. As expected I came out Blue to the core (>80%!) but I was surprised at how closely my responses were reflected by the SNP (55%!)...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Afternoon all
Elfen - I agree, some time out with your parents might help, take care x
Gonzo - I used that site and it was very accurate for me which was reassuring.
Phoned tax credit people and yes, they'd done the figures wrong when DH stopped working so yes we were owed this money :T Have just paid 2 cards off and I am now personally debt free...although we work the finances jointly so I don't see it as any sort of personal victory - just 2 cards less to worry about....all the outstanding stuff is 0% so even better.
Been to town, been to vote, sat in the beer garden in the sun and am now about to go play in the garden.

i know i do like that site a lot, however didnt help me in the slightest! as this was what i gotbasically my rough scores where
Tory 68% average agree highest being about 75% lowest being about 50%
Lib Dem 67% average agree highest being about 85% but lowest being 35% (education)all other partys where quite a bit lower average scorelabour was 48% average agree even green was higher for me at 56%
so who to vote for, someone who i generally agree wiht accross the board, or someone who i really agree with on some points but really disagree wiht on others? especially when the lowest was education and i am trying to take into account my wee one and what effects it coudl have on herDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
According to that site I need to go change my vote!0

lol i guess thats a problem then Bookie? its why i have been looking at it for a while, i dont want to pick a party just because i think i should vote for them but to actually pick a party i agree with, only issue is i agree with 2 of them equally
and they are the 2 main party contending my local seat ggggrrrr Drop a brand challenge

:T for being debt free Pooky - any debt cleared is a bonus

I voted so won't be taking those polls because I'll only confuse myself. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
In general elections I tend to vote for the party which I feel would be best for Britain.
In local ones I tend to veer more to what they do locally which isn't always what happens nationally.
Our last MP was excellent, although not from the party I would normally choose. He was wonderful in the area. Sadly he died at Christmas and I have never seen his replacement in the area at all.0 -
I've done the Vote Advisor thing now and came out with Lib Dems 73% and Green 69% which are the two I am swaying between - probably go Lib Dem for MP and Green for local as the Green counsellor who's been in here for a while has been brilliant for the local area.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
