I've got a cooked gammon joint. I left it out of the fridge - for about 24hrs, I think.
It smells OK. I've nibbled a bit and it tastes OK. Any reason not to eat it? It's very tasty gammon, too, so would be a shame to waste the joint.

Oh, it should be fine, especially in this cool weather. Back in the bad old days before my family had a fridge cooked meat was kept in the pantry for much longer than 24 hours.0

I would eat it, if it had been covered.
If it hadnt been covered , and I was sure there hadnt been flies about, then I would trim off the outer bit, ( probs gone a bit dried up) and eat the rest!Norn Iron Club member 4730
