Hi folks, I'm just wondering if anyone has won from this website apart from here ?

I sent them an email regarding the comp to win 200 copies of Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn from here. I was told, basically, they were more concerned with searching for new books to review on their website, to have time to bother with competitions. They passed all entries to the publisher, for them to post out to winners. Still they were able to tell me I hadn't won ! And they don't post winners names because that would be too sensitive - [FONT=Tahoma, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial]"They can however be obtained upon request but we won’t issue any information that could be deemed sensitive."[/FONT]

I was wondering if anyone had even a WEM from this comp? I understand not everyone want to post wins, and that's each to their own. But no one at all has reported a win from here.

Sorry for the rant, but I will not be posting any competitions from this website again if no one has a chance of winning anyway.

I will probably be inundated with people telling me of their wins from lovereading.co.uk now Just want to make sure I'm not wasting everyone's time posting these

I "think" i won from them last year if i remember it was a set of 12 illustrated books for kids, remember getting a letter informing me and about a dozen bookmarks it said books were on their way, and for the life of me now i canr remember getting them, im sure i did but will have to go venturing into the lads room to find them in the morning, if i dont post back pls inform ppl im missing somewhere in their room!:cool:

I have won a signed book with these back last year, it just turned up, no covering letter/note, so took me about 2 days to even find where the comp came from!

Thanks everyone for replying:beer: I'm glad some of you have won from this website. I was curious about this comp, as they had 200 books to give away, and I hadn't heard of one winner.

I am off course, not surprised in the least I hadn't won That wasn't an issue...just par for the course
