HMV has a 4GB mp3 player for £19.99. My mum got one as she wanted something to listen to while walking the dog and it's easy enough to use.0

You should be able to get a SanDisk Sansa for that, if you look out on HUKD etc for special offers.0

Second the sandisk. Not much of a screen, but a joy to use with good old drag and drop, fantastic sound quality.Picked up an 8gb from Amazon a couple of weeks back for £35.Insert a micro sd card to make it into a 40 gig if you like.0

Sandisks are good, but for a more simple one, I bought myself an Archos Key today for £20. Expandable memory and built-in FM transmitter, it's pretty good.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Got myself a reconditioned sansa clip for around £11 inc pandp from ebay. I know it only has 1gb of memory but it really is a great little machine.Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.0 -

Though after having used it, I realised there are two off buttons, but no keylock/hold switch. OddSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
