Curse of the lightbulb moment

Well like I've stated in some of my other post it's now been over a month that I've seen the light Ive started opening my mail again keeping an eye on my money trying to get a second job but life can't but help throw more c*#p at you.
last month was able to save my first £300 but needed a new door to sell my house and get the divorce sorted so that's gone.
Well now my brakes are gone on my car are we ready for new pads and dics £190 need new tyre £60 total cost with labour £297 I've had to spend more money since my lightbulb moment and this is really getting to me now!!!!!
Just don't have this cash was thinking of buying pads myself see if that helps

    We all have these things, simlar happened to me £900 on the car just as we had started saving and paying off the debts, at least you have a little money to cover this and you know where you stand.

    It would probably save you a bit if you bought the parts yourself. Maybe shop around for a better price?

    i would buy the discs and pads myself just be sure you get the right ones. as for the tyre could you get part worn, i paid £45 for 2 that still had 5mm on them.

    Hi there what a nightmare for you, but try to look at it from a teensy positive angle, had you not had your LBM, you probably wouldn't have saved the £300, and so would be more stuck with a sudden expense and no money for it? :o

    Another perspective is to consider that without the LBM, you would not be seeing this as money spent but just more going on credit cards.

    You are now in the mindset of getting debt free, so you can see these problems instead of ignoring them!
    Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
