What Moisturiser Do You Use?

Comments

  • Following on from my thread 'What Foundation Do You Use' someone suggested that a reason I end up all shiny is because of the moisturiser that I use. I'm currently using Dr. Nick Lowe oil control day cream but it doesn't seem to be working. So what moisturser do you use and does it leave you shine free all day?

It wouldn't be the moisturiser that is causing you to be shiny. I think it would be the foundation that you use. I had the same problem before I changed my foundation.

I use moisturise then Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation. Also if you use powder that will take the shine away :)

    Hope that helps.

No7 oil control in a white tube is one of the best on the market you could also try a thin layer of milk of magnesia (here I go again;)) I can guarantee you wont shine:)

At the moment its Body Shop's vitamin e cream for day, and carrot moisturiser for night. When I've finished using these up I'll probably go back to my regular Philosophy hope in a jar.

I use Boots cheapie Cucumber cream for all facial types. I've tried Body shops Vit E and it make my skin horrible and shiny. I've tried de-greaser moisturisers in the past and they were a waste of money. Changing my foundation has made more of a difference too (I use Lily Lolo mineral powders).

    Nivea soft. Always.
    Me too. I love it.
  • For my face I use Protect & Perfect serum and night cream and superdug vitamin e eyecream, which is really cheap but gives good results I think. For my body I use Nivea Soft. I do like the smell and it's light and non-greasy. Quite inexpensive too and you can actually use it on your face to but it has not SPF.
