Contact number for the BT bankruptcy team?

Does anyone have this?
I'm going mad trying to deal with BT
I have an old debt from them included in the BR, which they have chased and chased (and I have sent proof of BR to them). I now have a 'pending legal action' letter from a collection agency (with attached fees), but the collection agency say the bill is from the 19th Feb (after my BR and the day after I transferred away from BT).
Now, I know that I'd have an amount to pay BT for the time between BR and moving my line...but they never sent me a bill for it (just reminders about the old debt that should have been in the BR).
Have spoken to the collection agency, who don't give a s**t as the debt they have is dated 19th Feb and they demand payment today (reduced rate) or I'll have to pay the full amount with charges.
Have contacted BT to ask to speak to someone who can tell me what they are billing for, got given a number for the BR team which turned out to be a fax number. Called again and got a guy who says his supervisor will call me back in 2-3 minutes (which was half an hour ago).
Does anyone have any other number I can use?

onward, I had trouble with BT, nothing to do with our BR, but we transferred away from them some time ago and never heard anything from them until a letter arrived demanding payment for over £100 within the next 7 days.
This was for an engineer call out, we had a really crackly line, and he changed some bits on the line, which worked, and we should not have been charged for, but they charged us anyway!
I emailed them through the complaints bit on the site, and got a phone call the next day apologising, and they re-did the bill for us, excluding the engineers call out.
My advice is to go on and send a nice strongly worded email, and keep on at them!!
Good luck!0 -
I'm talking to them again now. It seems the debt they want me to pay is for Dec - Feb, i.e some before BR, some after. They tell me I cannot call the BR team, nor can they issue a partial bill!!
The annoying thing is I know some of that bill is mine to pay, but I have no idea how much, and can't get the info from either BT nor the collection company, so it just keeps accruing charges.VSP Challenge 2014 #??? - £9.970 -
Well....finally after much foot stamping I got to speak to someone who could do something.
They have confirmed the debt goes back to December last year, and up to a final bill generated in February. They have contacted the debt collectors and taken the case back again...so it should go quiet for a bit I suppose!
I offered again to pay any charges dated 5th Feb-18th Feb (day after BR to day of line transfer), but again was told they could not split a bill and it would be looked at by the BR team.
I think I will be sending a letter to the BR team later today, along with a copy to Ofcom, making it very clear that they cannot keep waving the old debt at me, nor can they refuse to separate out any charges from after BR and add late fees on.
I'd tell the receiver, but they've handed everything over to a trustee and I doubt my interests are at the top of their agenda.
By the way, I never did find a phone number for BT's BR team, but this is the address:
