                    Looking for some advice
Basically ive split with the oh and the house cannot be sold as 50% of the street is up for sale and the house is valued at 200k and we owe 198k as remortgaged few yrs back.
OH wants to keep on house until market picks up, equity increases but Nationwide wont let him be sole occupier on mortgage. We both jointly own an ex council property with a tiny mortgage which my elderly aunt occupies and we dont want to sell that for obvious reasons.
How legit would it be for me to remain on the mortgage (but not pay anything) and for me to purchase a new property on buy to let (but with me as landlord and occupier)
Clutching at straws and appreciate all advice. Many Thanks

Sell up while the shortfall is only a few thousand. Matters could soon spiral out of control, and your other property asset could be put at risk.0
