Hi guys, I have 10 minutes before I leave for an appointment to open a basic bank account as i may be going on a DMP.
What reason do I give as to why i want the most basic account?

probably too late but I just said I was finding it hard to budget and wanted an account with no overdraft or debit card so I could keep track of my money more easily.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34 :eek:

I said mainly the same thing - and also I had to declare being bankrupt and Natwest were fine about it.
