Aviva (ex Sun Alliance) final bonus

Hi,
I have a endowment with Aviva (ex Sun Alliance) that is due to mature in December and wondered if anybody out there has just had a policy mature and what final bonus they received.
I was thinking of surrendering the policy before its maturity date, as we might need the cash a little earlier than December.
The policy was expected to raise £32,000 and it will be nearer £26,000, but the final bonus could make all the difference.
