do i have to sell my house first?

My partner and I have decided to buy a house together. We both own our own homes and have mortgageS on them (my mortgage is less than 1 year old). My property is rented out at the moment. So, how do we go about joining together. Will a mortgage lender lend us anything together if i still rent out or will i have to sell my house? I have booked an appointment with a financial advisor but wanted to have some insight myself before the appointment.

    how much of a deposit do you have, will your salaries support multiple mortgages and is your property on a BTL mortgage?
