M&S selected meat,fish & poultry 3 for £10 offer on May 2010

Just browsing the M&S website and noticed they have updated their monthly offers and that the 3 for £10 selected meat, fish and poultry offer is back on again plus half price selected groceries (the olive oil is fab).

Hopefully it will be the same wide selection they had on last time - hope everyone has room in their freezers

Update: I went into my local Simply Food and they had a good selection of items on the 3 for £10. I picked up a £4.95 Oakham chicken, a gammon joint, 2 sirloin steaks with a seasoning on them, some barbecue pork ribs, lemon sole and some sweet chilli chicken breasts and saved £10.95. I did not see any lamb shoulder joints, sweet & sticky soy pork or tuna steaks that were included last time but they did have more selection of the chicken breasts, burgers and barbecue type items.

They also had a good selection of deli items for 3 for a £5 and an indian meal deal for £3.

This was great last time - all great quality - we'll be visiting M & S tomorrow.

There was a good selection, but not the 'joints' that were included last time.

I purchased small chicken x 2 (£4.96 & £4.93), peppered chicken (£5.49), free range chicken breasts (£5.94 & £6.18) and wild salmon with a watercress sauce (£5.49) = saving of £12.99.

Also lots of deli & cheese - 3 for £5. Got, peppered smoked makrel (£2.61), salmon flakes (£2.99) and mexican chicken (£2.29) = saving of £2.89.

I got 2 x small chickens (4.78 each) and 2 x sweet chilli burgers as these looked yummy.

I didnt realise but the half leg of duck (fresh) is also in the 3 for £10 offer as well as 20 butchers choice sausages - great if you are planning a big BBQ.

Until this offer, I was able to buy the two packs of chicken thighs/breast for £5.00, which was a better offer for me. However, the chinese 3 for £5.00 is a good one - excellent value on the chinese dumplings...

I must admit that, having bought and bought and bought last time this offer was on, I was disappointed this time around. The lovely pork and shoulder of lamb joints weren't on offer, neither were the really good fish dishes - Torbay sole, plaice, haddock. I hope they increase the range over the next couple of weeks, or I probably won't be bothering.

I found the organic chicken breast at last in my M&S

All 3 of my pack were around £6.50 each so 3 for £10 was a good price.

They were pretty big bits of chicken as well.

They are adding to the range, so check back next week and a few days after the bank holiday. There will be more included.

Just been looking in Marksies today, there is some lovely looking stuff in this offer!! I'd presumed it would just be basic chicken fillets, mince etc - but was very wrong, it included different varieties of marinated chicken, lamb kebabs, different types of burgers etc - fab stuff for barbies!! Unfortunately couldn't carry any today as was on foot but will defo be popping back tomorrow in the car!
