Q) What is the title of the film that prompted Paradjanov to try a new filmmaking style in Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors?
Think that the answer could be Ivan's Childhood
source: http://www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk/reviews/2010/05/04/shadows-of-forgotten-ancestors/After seeing Andrei Tarkovsky’s film Ivan’s Childhood (1962), Paradjanov saw an alternative to the restrictive filmmaking style of his youth. The resultant aesthetic of Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors is a mix of swooping, swirling camera angles and wide tableaux of breathtaking landscapes.
Best of Luck
