Ok....it's not free but just an idea (bear with me)......why not get one of those battery operated hand held poker games.... i know it's not the same as shuffling chips and dealing the cards but it's cheaper.... I got one from Argos which allows you to play with up to 6 friends....also you can play against upto 6 computer players when your mates aren't around.

search google for ANPL Poker League.

Free to enter tournaments weekly in local pubs. getting bigger every day. I dont work for them at all and have never played.. but if you and your mates go there.. you can even win a lot

Well i have a couple packs of chips and so on. But forgot to take them for a poker game with the lads "woops" we ended up using lego... (His sister is only 10 lol) Was amusing I raise you my handbuilt spaceship lol. You could just use 1p-2ps etc

Or just go and buy some chips from debehnams or something not exactly gonna brake the bank! More likely to do that playing poker:rotfl:

play.com had a poker set on offer recently for £7.99 including cards, chips and an aliminium case

Not free but it is cheap

Typing "poker set" into eBay produces lotsa choices

Coors were doing a great promotion a while back - free poker set to send off for with a 4 (or was it 6?) pack of beer. OK so not free - but you just have to buy and drink the beer!

Nice set - comes in a tin with chips, cards and a quick playing guide.

That was a couple of months back, but it might be worth a look around your local offies and supermarkets to see if anyone still has those packs.
