Help for a friend of mine please...
She came back from a long holiday 2 weeks ago to find that the local cats had used her back garden as a communal toilet BIG TIME. After speaking to her mum she used Jeyes Fluid to clean everything (even on the soil...) and now has another problem. The smell. Whatever she does she cannot get rid of the smell of the fluid. She has even replaced a lot of the soil. Apparenty its ok when it's dry/sunny, but when the rain falls she has to keep her windows shut. Her neighbours ain't too happy either...
Any suggestions? I have researched on here and read about Jeyes being toxic to cats, but not wanting to upset/depress her anymore thought I would try and help instead of having a go!
Thanks in advance
Lesley

ooh me too, I must be weird as well!! Jeyes fluid, lovely stuff.
But back to the plot, given a few days/weeks the smell will just go as the microbes in the soil break it down.
Must go the local road menders are asphalting the road outside, i'm just going for a quick sniff!!I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes. :doh:0 -
Nope - I like it too
Nothing much she can do - it will fade eventually. She should tell herself that it's better than the smell of cats' messWarning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
Errr - me too. I also like the smell of the Phenolic disinfectant they use in hospitals, and tar/creosote... I thought it was just me
