Old Will what happens?
Comments
-
Making a new Will will supersede the old one. Marriage voids pre-existing Wills, but divorce does not (very important to know, since people often assume the opposite).
If/when you make a new Will you can keep a photocopy of it in your papers at home with a note explaining where the original is held. If you don't get your Will drawn up by a solicitor, why not check with your bank whether they charge to lodge papers as some have safe deposit facilities. However, not all branches do, and some banks charge rather a lot for the service, so you may need to do a bit of shopping around.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)
Debt free success date: 14.8.2006 :j0 -
Make a new will, date it and within the new will state that it voids any previous wills made.
