CCA request question

Hi,
i posted a question regarding asking for a copy of my CCA earlier so forgive me i dont wish to ask the same questions again, i am fimilar with what i need to write and what letter templates to use from this forum, but i have just one concern i would like some feedback on please:
i have been asked by the DCA to send an income/expenditure form in to them so they can evaluate what i can afford (they originally wanted an unreasonable monthly amount i simply could not afforfd to pay)
so if i send a CCA request letter in at the same time and they esculate there action or threats before they reply the CCA request what should i do??
should i forget the CCA route back off and pay? or continue to demand a copy, i just want to know what to do if they use threats because i request my CCA?
a few months ago they sent me a statutory demand form, this wasnt an official document and more like athreat to scare me, should i take this ase evidence legal action is ready if i dont pay so requesting my CCA is to late? or take my chances
will i have to go to court?
any help really appreciated

Hi
Post your questions on the CCA in here.
Request it, will delay things regardless.

You have asked lots of questions in an array of order so im guessing your a little confused.
You can request a CCA at anytime, its your legal right. If court action has already been started then generally it is to late to do a CCA as the court date will come before they need to give you the CCA.
But otherwise, if no court action has been started then go for a CCA Request.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Personally if you have started payments i would carry on until you get the outcome of your CCA request unless you are already disputing the debt on some other grounds.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
