Whoever wins, the country is in for a !!!!!! storm. I'm going with a hung parliament with Tories with the most seats. However, I have no doubt that the dictator will try and cling on to power like a leech sucking the blood furiously from its host.0

Brown will have to be dragged kicking and screaming from Number 10. He's so deluded and out of touch with reality that he believes that he's the only person capable of running the country. He can't even run a bath.
I think the Tories will scrape a small majority as it happens.0 -
Who needs enemies?
'Worst prime minister'
Meanwhile Labour's parliamentary candidate for North West Norfolk Manish Sood has told his local newspaper Mr Brown "has been the worst prime minister we have had in this country".

I think some people here need to remember that to win an election you need a majority of seats.
If Cameron fails to do this, then he has not won the election. Simple as.Politics is not the art of the possible. It consists of choosing between the disastrous and the unpalatable. J. K. Galbraith0 -

This is true.
However, it appears today pact's and tactical voting, suggested by labour themselves, is only making it harder for the population as a whole to get a fair representation and a fair, democraticly chosen government in place.0 -

A fair representation would be a lot more LibDem seats than they are likely to win at this election.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. The way to get fair representation is to switch to Proportional Representation.
The Tories cannot complain about tactical voting, it is something that the system they support encourages.Politics is not the art of the possible. It consists of choosing between the disastrous and the unpalatable. J. K. Galbraith0 -

It is a good point all everyone is doing on the polls at the moment is seeing what would happen if what % of the population voted would = XXX
But in reality it is how they vote per constituency, if everyone votes as per the polls for the constituencies conservative would have a majority (OK I know people will not vote as per the polls)
So in reality all the polls are giving us are a estimated result based on proportional representation. We do not have proportional representation so in reality they could be a fair way off TBH.
If the majority of people vote conservative in the majority of seats we will have a new government (obvious I know).0 -

Lets say 35% of people who vote, vote Tory and they get a small majority.
This means that approx 21% of the electorate voted for them (assuming a 60 % turn out) but they have a 'mandate' to wreck the country.
I won't even get started on the fact that in such a scenario, the Lib Dems might get 28% of the vote and only get 80 odd seats.
Whats fair about that ?US housing: it's not a bubble
