I got a argos gift card last week when i bought my mobile phone (which was a bargin as it had £10 off compared to the O2 shop/ carphonewarehouse). But i dont really need anything from argos right now so does anyone have any ideas whats worth using the £5 gift card on?
It expires the middle of May.... so only have 2 weeks left to use it. We do have another £5 argos gift card that doesnt expire till next year (if i'd been told about this i would have used it on the phone >< but i wasnt told) to i can spend a little over the £5.
So the only thing i can see too but costs £15 but i dont really want to "buy for buyings sake" its not very mse.
P.S i hope ive posted in the right board, i dont often venture out of the OS board. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Why not use them both and buy a birthday present or Christmas present and put it away till you need it.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

I've bought something with a gift card/cash before. I later decided that I didn't want it & when I took it back had a choice of cash refund or credit note/gift card with a (2 year) expiry date.
Not that I would recommend doing this intentionally.;)0 -
I used my last voucher on a small food mixer for just under a fiver.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Can you buy phone top-up using the gift card?
Otherwise, treat yourself to something you wouldn't normally buy!A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
I also got a £5 voucher for Argos last week and after having a look through the catalogue and then round the shop I decided on a watch. They had loads of designs and all were £5. When removed form the cheap packaging it looks much more expensive then £5. Also lots of kitchen bits were about £50

If you have any Nectar points you could put them towards the £15 item along with the voucher.0

This might be my best option so far.
Especially as i found the £15 item for £8 in TK maxx so dont need that now.
I guess if no one can think of anything i want i just need to find somthing for £5 exactly that isnt exluded from the 28 day money back guarentee.
Batteries arnt something we go through as i have no children and very few electrical items that dont have rechargable batteries.
And i get sellotape for free off someone who works in a office.0 -
If you pay by giftcard then they shouldn't give you an option to have cash back, but the giftcard would be valid for three years from that date. So there would be no rush to use it.
On the shopfloor my local Argos has watches for £5, anti-bacterial gel for £1, bike puncture repairs kits for £1, jewellery set for £5, screws for £1, DVDs for £4 and more stuff for under a fiver..I just can't remember anything else.
Plus Argos always has loads of bedding and kitchen stuff for under £50
