Once I know the figure the O.R expects off me for 36 months..How do I actually pay it? Can it be done by cheque? By someone elses account? By standing order?

It can be done from your bank account on direct debit.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Hi there I presume this is an IPA for thirty six months.
It will depend how the OR is dealing with it.
Firstly it may take a while for things to get in motion, so please make sure you keep the amount agreed safe.
Some moneys are collected by moonbeaver a Solicitor on behalf of the OR and they can take ages to catch up.
They or the RTLU would oversee things such as an IPA after AD unless you have a BRO.
If in doubt how it will be collected email the OR
Best of luck sizzler.:)0 -
Does an IPA start from the date of the bankruptcy order or the discharge date?0

Hi it would start from as sonn as you have surplus income over £99 from the start of BR and tuns for 36 months.
If your circumstances change and you inform OR then IPA would change accordingly

It would start as soon as you and OR have signed the IPA paperwork, and then the OR has forwarded to Moonbeever who then need to get in touch with you to sort out payment - so not the quickest of things!0 -
I have a question on this, if it starts straight away and it takes say 2 months to sort out actually paying do you have to pay the previous 2 months payments and how do they take this payment.
Also how does it work if you earn a bonus one month how and when does that get taken ?0 -
It starts soon as you sign the agreement with the OR and then when moonbeever contact you...so you would have to put the cash to one side till they do (on behalf of the OR)....you notify them of ANY changes in circumstances if the bonus is low they may not even be interested...if its a month to month thing they'll ask for payslips for a while and average it outWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

yeh its month to month but an either or as in if I hit target I get a bonus (set amount the same every time I hit) if I dont hit target I dont get it. Problem I have is last 3 months Ive hit so if I need to give wage slips it shows ive gotten a bonus but for next 6 months I might not hit.0 -
then they'll average it out over a few months then...We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

Is that decided at the outset with the OR...or do I have to ensure I dont spend any kind of bonus I receive untill its resolved further down the line...(asking now as last thing I want is to get into difficulties post br)0
