Hey welsh ladies - hope the planning is going well!

I am after any recommendations - my friends partner was DJing for us, but they have sadly broken up...

Anyone know a decent DJ available on 31st July this year? We are getting married in Crickhowell, South Wales but if they are willing I can pay for travel

    ANY suggestions welcome! :D
    Thanks xxx

Do any of you know of any Welsh readings that would be suitable for a wedding?

With an English translation too (I'm a bit rusty) :)
  • Hi all
Hope the plans are coming along!
I'm a Welsh b2b, we've applied for Don't Tell the Bride but if we're not successful we're going to have to try organising a very cheap bash!
Does anyone know of any nice but cheap venues in the Torfaen area?

your brave applying for that I would never let my H2B organise our wedding id have everything in football colours!!
Don't know the torfaen area sorry. Have you thought about local rugby clubs and golf clubs. There is loads of things on ebay you can use for decorating and look out for special offers that companies are doing I had a great offer on my chair covers and centerpieces. Good luck!!

I dont know of any welsh readings. Have you tried google?
  • I know, I still can't decide if I'm being brave or stupid!
My problem is that I have expensive taste, hence being tempted by the programme as they give you £12,000 which we could never afford ourselves!
Mine would probably just blow the budget on food and drink ha!
I think we will have to start trying golf clubs, etc, just hoping that there are some hidden little gems around that I don't know about.

Yeah, had a look, but they either seem to be all in Welsh, or all in English, heh.

Welshbride - thanks loads for the DJ, we have booked him so am excited!! When is your wedding - ours is 31st July so I can give feedback!

Our colours are Bright - pink, turquoise, purple, orange and green! With some, yellow and silver thrown in and ivory cravats! i am convinced but the groom is a little concerned! I have the bridesmaid dresses and guest book so far in those colours and they look fab so fingers crossed! It is all feeling real now - but I am not going back down to wales unitil the day before so here's hoping it can all be sorted long distance! :D
