From the 28th of August for one week I will be saying balls to budgets and money saving :beer: :j we're off to Blackpool for a week family holiday

(ok so I am taking my deal vouchers and money off coupons and other vouchers for money off things, oh and my freebie toiletries and stuff :rotfl: )

With the encouragement of others from this forum and others, with hints, tips and ideas on money saving I actually have enough saved to go abroad (not that I will) :T I now know how much I have got available for us to spend and I nearly passed out :eek: :rotfl:


Saying all this now as I just did my sums, we're even managing a day to Lightwater Valley (with half price entry and free travel) before we go, so pleased, be our first holiday without penny pinching

Oh and you might want to keep an eye out for the cafe on the front that does a lovely cup of tea for 10p, it has a big sign on the side of the door advertising it so you can't miss it

Have a great time - its a bit untidy on the front, because there's sea-defence work being done, but the donkeys are still going strong (but not on Thursdays coz its their day off), the Sandcastle has had a refit, the North Pier Theatre is open again & the sea is a lot cleaner than it used to be!
