Hi
Our local Sports Centre hires out a hall and soft play equipment very reasonably.
To be honest though a room full of balloons and plenty of room to run about and scream in makes a party for little ones. I have also had a few "making" parties in our local hall (lots of paint and mess - just make sure you cover the floor).
We also hired a bouncy castle for the back garden one year. It was lots of fun.0 -

You played the music and when it stopped everyone stood on a sheet, the one that didn't have a sheet had to wear a very silly hat for the next lot of music and so it went on, the hat being swapped each time.
Great idea! I've got a very silly pink curly wig that would be great for that one!0 -
Hi don't know whether you're near Swansea but we just threw my sons birthday party. The hall cost £18 for 2+ hours and we had an entertainer called Sparkys Parties, he cost £90 for 2 hours. My son loves superheros and the guy dresses as his own superhero called Partyman, this went down well with all..even the girls! Party went very well as I didn't have to entertain 30+ 2-8 yr olds so I was just left to worry about if I had enough food and party bags!!!! Hope this helps, if you need number or web address let me know0
