I shot down when I saw this at lunchtime.

Had a reduction in my bill of over £160 quid.

Then they ran out of stock. :D

Second store I went to wouldnt let me out the store with the measley 30 or so packets in my trolley.

Looking at the receipt closely it looks like they are selling for 59p each but for each one you buy they are refunding you £1.18 which is the price of the two you would get free.

Reading the threads it looks like they couldnt fix the glitch and just cleared the shelves if they realised before customers cleared the shelves for them.

The person you're complaining about is the one who posted the glitch originally so they're more than entitled to get their fair share.

Just my luck was out all day and there were none left when I got there. Let's hope the IT people at Tesco are on holiday tonight and we get another chance tommorow. Still I did get 6 Finish Powerball dish wash tablets ( 15 ) for 96p each. Works out at £2.88 for 45 while next box on shelf with 45 in is £9.99!! This offer has already been mentioned I beleive

You get charged the price that the items scan through the till at, at the time your order is packed, not the price when the order was placed.

So if the glitch is fixed by tomorrow you will either get charged full price, in which case you reject your order, or the chances are they will just say they are out of stock and not send them at all, meaning you pay full price for the rest of the shopping.

And to be honest, looking at most of the posts on here , the chances are most stores will be out of stock anyway! Or the store will have cleared their shelves on purpose until the glitch is sorted.

I would have risked it if my order total had not changed from the original amount, but this suggests to me they have realised the error. Worth the risk if you can afford to pay the extra! I personally wasnt going to be in when the shopping was delivered and dont trust my friend to follow my simple instructions of rejecting the order! I just cant afford to pay full price.

Good luck to those who continue with it!

Thanks for the support :) - For anyone interested I wasn't "just being greedy" - I bought at two different stores to ensure that the deal wasn't just store specific before I posted on HUKD, and there were plenty left at both stores when I left. Everything I bought will be used and appreciated by me, my family and my friends :)
