Going to start battling my way through my kitchen full of chopped tomatoes tomorrow with a nice chilli. No idea how much chilli is in the chopped toms + chilli so no idea how much less chilli powder to put in. I've certainly got enough cartons for a bit of trial and error experimenting though!
Which cartons are people using for spaghetti bolognese? I can't decide whether to use the Basil or the Garlic & Olive Oil... both sounds like nice choices. I'm only cooking for one (:() so won't be using one of each carton!
Not entirely sure how I'm going to use all these up by Sept/Oct constantly eating spag bol, chilli and cottage pie but I'm certainly going to have a good old try.0 -
Still working at Ystrad Mynach at 12.00, lots on the shelf.

I use the chilli ones for spag bol tbh.: Do like my food spicy though.
Actually buy these at full price so I'm not bothered about having to pay £1.77 for 9 :rotfl::T0 -

i've just made a lasagne with the garlic olive oil ones and its gorgeous. i did add some dried mixed herbs but before i did so, i had a quick taste of the toms and they are really nice. as another person said, i usually get the value toms or value passatta so these are a really nice change.
why dont you make some lasagnes, cannelonis or pasta bakes with your toms? if you have some plastic tubs that are freezer friendly, you could freeze yourself some single portions so you dont have to cook on other nights.
i make a lasagne and a spinach and ricotta canneloni at the same time. i usually only need half of one for the same night for me and my sons so i freeze the rest.July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0 -
I was too busy so told my mum about it. Daft bat only got a small amount of shopping and she was rumbled when the till said they owed HER money :rotfl:0

did they cancel your whole order? what else did you buy?
my order's coming from the same store, I have the late night delivery slot though so I wasn't really expecting any glitches, but I was hoping to get them at buy 1 get 2 free, as advertised.
I thought that if a store doesn't sell a product then they don't let you order it online?
Yep they cancelled the whole thing! I had some groceries i.e pop, dog food, biscuits etc. I also ordered 99 bags of 1p tesco mini eggs that they were suppose to have in! And guess what they didn't.
My arguement was the fact that I'd been in the day before and brought some off the shelf... so how do they not sell it!!!
They've sent me a £10 e voucher to spend when I next shop online. Better than nothing I guess. Would have prefered some free tomato sauces though!!0
