I need 2 sofas but don't want to wait 2 months ???

Any suggestions of shops I sould visit to try to find 2 new, large sofas with immediate delivery- either from stock or ex-display models. Max price for both £1500
I dont want leather.I dont want ultra modern.

Every where I've looked so far has an expected delivery time of between 10 - 12 weeks
I'm happy to travel anywhere up to an hours drive time from Belfast.
I've been to Next & Harvey Norman-Hollywood exchange,Ideas in Furniture-Lisburn Road,Reid Furniture and Harveys -Boucher Road, Creations Belfast and Newtownabbey,Rite Price-Shore Road and Right Price Coleraine but I haven't found anything I like.
I've also looked at M&S,Debenhams,Argos,Tesco and John Lewis online.
I need something deeper than 'average' 'cos my family are all tall, so would prefair not to order online unless I've had a chance to actually sit on a 'sample' first.
P.S....I know I'm being fussy !!!

Did you have a look at Ikea? They have some not too bad sofas, and they seem to be of a good quality.

If you have no time, then def. don't order at rite price. We ordered there, and had to wait 20 weeks.

Reid have an outlet in Newry (you may have to put your boot down to get there within an hour....but it's not much longer than an hour away). They are in the Damolly retail park beside B&Q, so you don't have to drive through Newry to get to it. Everything they have is for immediately delivery/collection. Perhaps you could give them a ring to ask what they have in stock and take it from there.

Call round to S&L Furniture on the Castlereagh Road, Thomas Kelly is a decent bloke and might have something in stock you'd like.

    +1

My wifes parents got a lovely suite there last weekend - a large 3 + 2 + 1 with recliners on the single, double and each end of the triple

Cost £899 for the whole lot.

    And very decent staff too.

We've bought all of our furniture in Rea's of Larne and never been disappointed and always in stock, they deliver and install.

Did you try Glasker Interiors just of the A1 between Loughbrickland and Newry... They usually deliver quickly... and they are willing to sell their display sofas as well..

    Hi
Have you tried Nabru sofas. They are modular sofas and they can deliver the next working day if you like.
You can even design your own sofa (we did and we now have a monster of a sofa).
They had fantastic reviews which was why we bought outrs from them. We've got a large 5/6 seater sofa and it cost us £500 delivered. You do have to build it yourself but I did it and it was really easy.

    Hope this helps
