Sainsbury's BRITISH strawberries 227g £2.99 BOGOF @ Sainsbury's

Got some of these yesterday. They are £2.99 buy one get one free. They are also BRITISH!!

    Is it a coincidence that 2 x 227g = 454g - the large sized punnet weight of supermarket strawberries before they were downsized to 400g? And a couple of years ago you could get them for about £1.50 or less.
    Someone must be making a killing on these if prices have shot up so much in so short a period of time.

    i bought these in sainsburysthey are actually grown in holland and are flavourless would not buy again.

    Did you pick up the correct pack? These are the smaller packs not the bigger packs. The also have British Strawberries written on the front & have the British flag.

    Tesco have got british strawberries 400grammes for £2.49,50p cheaper but 54grammes less,would think the tesco offer is a better deal.

    I got the British ones and they are lovely. By the way...the Dutch ones were also there too !!!
