I would like to make my fences higher by about 15 inches. The thing is i have concrete posts firmly stuck down. I was wondering is there any feasible way of extending the height, without taking the posts out, so it with stands the windy days as well.
the concrete posts are about 5 feet above the ground and so are the fences.
any help would be appreciated.
thank you.

You could put larger panels in, but you need to reinforce the edges of the panel, so they don't get wrecked by the wind.0

i made my own out of scrap wood. once it was painted the same color as the fence, you would never know.Get some gorm.0

concrete gravel boards beneath the fence panels, thus raising the bottom of the panel?0

do you know how much those concrete post extenders cost and how they are screwed on. i couldn't find that information on the site. would they withstand the extreme weather conditions the uk has?
raising the concrete at the bottom would be too expensive i think.

I currently have concrete posts, 1ft concrete panels with 5ft fence panels on top. Have bought some 1ft trellis panels, can I just screw them into existing fence panels?0

aye. one side of my house had 4ft fence panels. i changed em for 6ft panels.
but didnt fancy changing all the concrete post (or the costs).
so i just made up wood infills from scrap, and stained them the same color as the panels.Get some gorm.0
