Tesco clubcard points for reusing bags

The scheme had gone live when I did my shop this morning.
One clubcard point for each bag reused.
Sadly I couldn't persuade the checkout lady to put only one item into each bag.
I did think of standing outside the store and selling my old bags fo a penny each.
.................wonder if anyone would buy them off Ebay?.........................

Yes, due credit to Tesco.
I called in at a Tesco Metro I've never been in before ( am I sad or what, day off, new town and I'm hunting down Tesco stores !!:rolleyes: )
No-one could have failed to know that Tesco are now giving "Green" clubcard points for re-using old carriers. The windows were blacked out with posters, the walls inside and out emblazoned with banners, and the security stands at the entrance/exit even had covers on, all advertising this scheme.

Note exclusions are if you use the self scan till and when you shop at Tesco.com

Hi, this is my first post...so sorry if it's a bit 'all over the place' - I was wondering how you know you have received these 'green' points? I did a shop at Tesco's this morning and used my own bag. The SA told me I would get points for not using new bags, but it seems I only got the usual points anyway?

It should have appeared on your receipt as green points.
