Hi,
Some may know I'm shortly to move into my LB's home in sunny Blackpool. He lives in a 1930's house, complete with stained glass panels. Now as we've been doing work in the house (stripping floor, decorating etc) it needs a flippin good clean throughout, but having been brought up in 1960's & 1980's houses, we didn't have such decorative things, & i don't know what to clean them with!
Do i use weak Stardrops or Windolene? Will anything affect the lead holding the window panes together? (Coz I don't want them to disintegrate )

I haven't ever had to clean stained glass but i found this advice via google -
1. Vacume dust from window with a soft brush attachment, taking care not to apply pressure to the window.
2. Clean individual pieces of glass with a lint free cloth that has been dampened with a mild, non-acidac detergent. Do not spray panel with window cleaner. Do not apply pressure to panel.
Hope that helpsAll comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

Thanks for that. So will weak diluted Stardrops be ok? Coz vinegar is acidic so that won't do!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
