Hi there
Just got some questions about Mystery SHopping and how legtimate it all is.
How much work is there actually there? I noticed people posting about certain jobs with companies, are these for specific areas in the UK?
Ive registered with a couple of companies ESA and Gfk Cybershop - are there real, are the good?
How much generally would I get paid? Gfk have confirmed my applicaiton but are asking for bank details which im slighty wary of doing.
Any help would be appreciated
THanks

There's a whole thread on MS - its fab and full of useful info and very experienced shoppers
The ones you've mentioned are legit - all have my bank details and have paid me, how would they pay you otherwise?!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Thanks for your reply! I have been looking at the other threads for a few days but just had a couple of questions I had in my head!!
I do realise that they would need my bank details but so soon?? what I mean is, if I give them my bank details can they put through a transaction to take money from my account without my authorisation?? gosh I sound so dim!! im not honest, just a but wary! :rotfl:0 -

No they can't take any money from you don't worry.
I too was wary at first but have had no problems and have made over £450 in 2 months & I don't do it full time
your fee depends on the company and what the job entailsA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Mhairi, you will need to improve your grammar and spelling, most companies will not put up with it.

I work for Cybershop, and they have only ever PAID me, and never taken my money. They ask for the details to deposit your earnings.
The only other company I have had success with (as in getting jobs) is Retail Eyes.
It is a legitimate way to make some pocket money. However, I have come across one MS site which wanted me to pay a membership fee. Knowing that this isn't how it works, I left the page quickly.
