Could be M Free by end of Month?

Hi

I'm reposting as I need a point in the right direction. I would like to pay off my mortgage which is about £3000. I have a car loan £10000, credit card debt £1200. I have been medically retired with a lump sum which will cover this but leave me with less than £3000.

Before I pay off my mortgage and find out it might not be right for me, I could do with getting some advice, eg the things to look out for in the future eg loans whilst not working, benefits etc. My family set up isn't exactly standard either.

Are there any experts out there who can help me.

Really the whole picture needs looking at before I take this step.

Any constructive advice welcomed.

Usual advice is pay off the highest APR first, so probably credit card, car loan them mortgage. If you are medically retired and are not going to work again, you need to look at getting by without credit and how to pay off your remaining finance.
