Ideas for a pork collar joint? (Not bacon)

I`ve only ever seen this cut in Farmfoods, it looked great value, a huge slab of pretty lean pork, skinless, for £5.95.
First time I bought one I roasted it wrapped in foil, nothing exiting but it was nice enough. Had lots of useful leftover cooked pork, too.
This time I`ve put it on a bed of leeks, tomatoes, red peppers and 3 whole chillis, plus a couple of big tired mushrooms chopped up in there, in my big oval pyrex with the lid on...only just put it in, no idea how it`ll turn out or what I`ll put with it till I see how it turns out, or how I feel by then!
I`m just wondering if anyone else here has used this joint, and how.
Also, how come it seems to be only on sale in Farmfoods? I did a search and only found it as a bacon joint, which seems a pity.

I buy the pork collar from Farm Foods, but I must confess that all I ever do is cook it then slice it up and freeze for making dinners. I really should try to do something more imaginative.
I reckon it would probably be nice cut into thick slices, marinated and cooked on a BBQ. Or maybe red Chinese style roast pork. I suppose you could wizz it is food processor and make meatballs. chopped into long thick strips and slow cooked in sticky BBQ sauce ( like boneless ribs lol)
I`ll be interested to read any other suggestions as it is a regular purchase for me and would be nice to try something new.0 -
I've been searching for some pork recipes today (including pork hock) as I seem to have a fair bit in the freezer. BBC good food has a lot of ideas, Pork & Parsnip Cobbler, Sticky Pineapple Pork, Asian Aubergine & Pork Hotpot
Have a wander and see what takes your fancy.
